NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (April 28, 2016) – Roper St. Francis Healthcare celebrated the grand opening of its new office park on Palmetto Commerce Parkway on Thursday.

The $35 million project includes a 130,000 square-foot building that houses 600 teammates from various departments (full list below).

The 24-acre campus features a fitness center, walking trails, video teleconferencing on each floor, a clinical simulation lab and a cafe offering breakfast and lunch for teammates.

Roper St. Francis Healthcare incorporated numerous green features in both the site and the building itself, such as LED parking lot lighting, electric car chargers and low-flow plumbing fixtures.

“For years, Roper St. Francis Healthcare has wanted to construct a building that would serve as a gathering spot for many of the healthcare system’s administrative functions,” said David Dunlap, president and chief executive officer of Roper St. Francis Healthcare. “The Roper St. Francis Office Park is the realization of that goal.”
