Monday, April 13, 2015 - Roper St. Francis Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare renew network relationship

Charleston, SC (April 13, 2015) — Roper St. Francis Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare have renewed their relationship, giving people enrolled in UnitedHealthcare individual, employer-sponsored and Medicare plans in-network access to all Roper St. Francis Healthcare physicians and facilities in the Charleston area. UnitedHealthcare and Roper St. Francis Healthcare agreed to make the new contract retroactive to March 1, 2015, ensuring UnitedHealthcare plan participants do not experience any interruption in their in-network benefits coverage for services received at Roper St. Francis Healthcare facilities and with their physicians.

Roper St. Francis Healthcare serves more than 275,000 patients annually throughout seven counties. UnitedHealthcare serves almost 500,000 people in South Carolina enrolled in individual, employer-sponsored and Medicare health plans.
