Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Urology offers a walk-in Kidney Stone Center for prompt treatment of kidney stones. The Kidney Stone Center is located in Roper Hospital Medical Office Building.


Walk-In or Make an Appointment
Walk-ins are welcome. Your doctor can refer you to the kidney stone center for same day service. Next day appointments are also available for patients experiencing an attack after normal business hours.

  • Severe pain in the side and back that may come in waves 
  • Pain that spreads to the lower abdomen and groin
  • Painful urination
  • Blood in urine
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Need to urinate more often 
  • Fever and chills if an infection is present

In addition to the treatment of acute kidney stone attacks, we also specialize in the management of recurrent kidney stone disease so we can help prevent future attacks. We offer metabolic evaluations and dietary counseling designed to help reduce future kidney stone formation.
