At Roper St. Francis Healthcare, we understand that you want to get back to the active lifestyle you love as quickly as possible. That’s why we’re dedicated to finding an approach that fits your needs.

As one of the most experienced orthopaedic teams in the region, we provide a full range of joint replacement options. Our surgeons have experience with minimally invasive procedures, such as arthroscopic surgery, as well as complex joint replacement surgery.

Advanced technology & robotics

We’re highly skilled in robot-assisted surgery, which allows us to perform knee and hip replacements with precision. Using the advanced Mako® robot-assisted surgery system, we can keep more healthy tissue and bone in place, which leads to less pain and faster recovery times for patients.

Our surgeons also have access to the ExactechGPS® system, which provides CT computer navigation during surgery. This imaging system creates fast and precise 3-D models of the patient’s bones and muscle. These images can help improve accuracy and reduce the need for large incisions, which improves the patient’s pain after surgery.

Streamlined surgery process

We understand that preparing for surgery can be overwhelming. That’s why we consolidate your pre-op appointments as much as possible. Our team will organize your tests and pre-op procedures so you can get into surgery quickly and safely.

To help you get home and recover faster, we offer a same-day discharge program for some joint replacement procedures. This means patients avoid staying overnight in the hospital after their procedure.

The classes also offer guidance and tips for recovery, so you can get back to activities you love as soon as possible.
